The Senate Judiciary Committee, led by Senator Lisa Baker, met to advance several bills designed to enhance Pennsylvania's criminal justice system and address key public safety issues. The committee focused on legislation that aims to protect communities, support law enforcement, and ensure justice for victims.

"The bills passed today reflect a bipartisan commitment to tackling pressing issues including the opioid crisis, violent crime and public safety threats."

Senator Baker emphasized the importance of these measures in addressing gaps within the legal system. The approved bills will proceed to the full Senate for further consideration.
