State Representative Dane Watro | Pennsylvania 116th Legislative District
Rep. Dane Watro of Luzerne/Schuylkill has been appointed as the Republican chair of the Subcommittee on Cities under the Local Government Committee in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2025-26 Legislative Session. This announcement was made today.
Watro expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am honored to have been chosen by Republican Local Government Committee Chairman Brett Miller (R-Lancaster) to serve in a leadership capacity with this subcommittee.” He added that he looks forward to collaborating with colleagues on legislation concerning significant issues affecting cities within the Commonwealth.
Besides his role on the Local Government Committee, Watro is also involved with several other committees. These include Education, Insurance, Professional Licensure, and Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness.
