Senator Lisa Baker and Representative Alec Ryncavage have announced a joint open house event at their district offices in Nanticoke. The event is scheduled for Friday, April 28, from noon to 4 p.m., located at 50 N. Walnut St., Suites 105 and 102.

Senator Baker emphasized the importance of engaging with constituents directly. "A crucial part of public service is meeting face-to-face with constituents, listening to what they have to say and alerting them to state programs and services that may assist in improving their personal situation," she stated. She noted that the open house provides an opportunity for people to discuss issues with both Senate and state House representatives.

Representative Ryncavage expressed appreciation for working alongside Senator Baker. "As a new legislator, I’m grateful that a seasoned senator like Sen. Baker and I will be in close proximity to one another as we help the constituents in our area," he said. He highlighted the convenience of their neighboring offices, describing them as a "one-stop shop" for residents seeking legislative services.

The offices offer assistance with various services including PennDOT paperwork, driver’s license and vehicle registration applications, senior citizen benefit programs, birth and death certificates, tours of the state Capitol, copies of legislation, among others.

Attendees are requested to RSVP by April 24 by contacting Liz Gorski or Beth Clemow via email at lgorski@pasen.gov or bclemow@pahousegop.com.
