CITY OF WILKES-BARRE: Pennsylvania American Water has Voluntarily Extended its Suspension of Water Service Shutoffs until after March 31, 2021

City of Wilkes-Barre issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.

Pennsylvania American Water has extended its suspension of water service shutoffs and late fees until after March 31, 2021 for all customers, both residential and non-residential.

The company urges customers who are facing financial hardship to seek financial assistance immediately by contacting Pennsylvania American Water  pennsylvaniaamwater.com or calling 1-800-565-7292.  

Please do not wait until a shut-off is looming to contact them.  To learn more about the company’s customer assistance program, you may want to check out their new educational video.
