Cost of college went down for all students at the Fortis Institute-Forty Fort

Tuition and fees fell 15.3 percent for 2018-19 at the Fortis Institute-Forty Fort, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $13,369 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $2,418 less than the $15,787 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 29 students received grants or scholarships totaling $167,957 and 28 students took out student loans totaling more than $177,614.

Including all undergraduates (164), 125 students used grants or scholarships totaling $643,660, and 105 students took out $699,944 in federal student loans.
