State Representative Dane Watro | Pennsylvania 116th Legislative District
Rep. Dane Watro of Luzerne and Schuylkill counties has been appointed as the Republican chair of the Subcommittee on Cities under the Local Government Committee in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2025-26 Legislative Session.
Watro expressed his gratitude, stating, "I am honored to have been chosen by Republican Local Government Committee Chairman Brett Miller (R-Lancaster) to serve in a leadership capacity with this subcommittee." He added, "I look forward to working with my colleagues on legislation related to important issues facing the Commonwealth’s cities."
Besides his role in the Local Government Committee, Watro is also part of several other committees. These include Education, Insurance, Professional Licensure, and Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness.
