During an open house at his district office in Fairview Township, Representative Alec Ryncavage announced state funding secured for projects and municipalities in the 119th Legislative District. Ryncavage stated, “Since taking office in December, I am pleased to have delivered nearly $3 million in state funding for the people and district I proudly represent.” He emphasized that more work remains and plans to continue collaborating with officials.

Ryncavage acknowledged Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver's role in advocating for the funds. The announced funding includes $780,000 for repairs to Dale Drive Bridge in Fairview Township, closed since 2020 due to safety concerns; $45,000 for a K-9 officer and police vehicle in Rice Township; and $500,000 freed up for the Ice Lakes dam project after eight years of delays.

Ryncavage aims to address Crestwood School District’s financial issues by increasing its Basic Education funding allocation and securing grants for building upgrades. He also noted the positive public response to his Fairview Township office, leading to extended operating hours from Monday through Friday.

The open house was attended by Senator Culver, Representative Aaron Kaufer, township supervisors, local police and fire department representatives, members of American Legion Mountain Post 781, Rotary Club of Mountain Top members, and area residents.
