The Wilkes-Barre Department of Public Works (DPW) will be closed on Friday, April 7, 2023, in observance of Good Friday. However, City Hall will be open on April 7th.
Friday, April 7th garbage and paper and cardboard recycling curbside collection for East End, Parsons, and Miners Mills neighborhoods is rescheduled for Monday, April 10th. Yard waste will not be collected on Friday, April 7th. Double Yard Waste Collection is scheduled for Friday, April 14th.
All other collections remain unchanged.
