Luzerne County recently issued the following announcement.

The Luzerne County Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at 5:45PM, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposed Ordinance Amending the Luzerne County Zoning Map to Re-Zone Three Parcels of Property totaling 2.83 acres in Ross Township from Mixed Zoning Districts of B-3, S-1, and A-1 Zones to Highway Business District (B-3) Zone. The Public Hearing will be via video/teleconference capabilities in order to permit virtual attendance of Council Members and members of the public. Members of the public will not be permitted to attend the Public Hearing in-person. Those wishing to view the Public Hearing and/or participate are directed to visit the Public Meetings Online page of the County’s Website at https://www.luzernecounty.org/1279/Public-Meetings-Online for more information on how to view and participate in the Public Hearing via technology.
