On Sunday, March 16, former Wilkes-Barre Area High School standout Katherine Keating’s current college team, the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Frostburg State Bobcats.
The game took place at Bobcat Field. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.
The Bobcats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 3:15 p.m. at Bobcat Field against Frostburg State Bobcats.
More than $1.6 million in state transportation funding will be distributed to four municipalities in Pike and Wayne counties, according to an announcement from Sen.
State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
