On Wednesday, March 26, former Wyoming Valley West Senior High School standout Madison Austra’s current college team, the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats, lost 9-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Davis & Elkins Senators.
The game took place at Joni Smith Field. This was their second matchup against the Senators this season.
The Bobcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at Culpepper Field against Point Park Pioneers.
More than $1.6 million in state transportation funding will be distributed to four municipalities in Pike and Wayne counties, according to an announcement from Sen.
