On Tuesday, March 25, former Pittston Area Senior High School standout Sage Weidlich’s current college team, the Bloomsburg Huskies, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Mansfield Mountaineers.
The game took place at Jan M. Hutchinson Field. This was their second matchup against the Mountaineers this season.
The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 2 p.m. at North Campus Field against Kutztown Golden Bears.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
