On Tuesday, March 18, former Hazleton Area High School standout Olivia Wolk’s current college team, the Hartford Hawks, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Grinnell Pioneers.
The game took place at USSSA Space Coast Complex. This was their first matchup against the Pioneers this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 1:45 p.m. at USSSA Space Coast Complex against Millikin Big Blue.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
