Luzerne County Council Public Hearing (Newport Twp Rezoning)

The Luzerne County Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 5:50PM, in the Council Meeting Room of the Luzerne County Courthouse, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposed Ordinance Amending the Luzerne County Zoning Map to Re-Zone One Parcel of Property totaling 41.17 acres in Newport Township from MI, Mining District Zone to R-2, Two Family Residence District Zone. The Public Hearing will be held as a both in-person and virtual meeting. The public may physically attend the public hearing. Those wishing to view the Public Hearing and/or participate are directed to visit the Public Meetings Online page of the County’s Website at https://www.luzernecounty.org/1279/Public-Meetings-Online for more information on how to view and participate in the Public Hearing via technology. Please be advised that virtual access to the meetings cannot be guaranteed due to possible technological issues.
