Gerrity's Ace Hardware is now open for business at its new Shavertown location at 1900 North Memorial Highway in the Back Mountain Shopping Center.

The store brings the company’s unique blend of personal, knowledgeable and helpful service, paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products, to Shavertown residents.

Joe Fasula, owner of Gerrity's Markets and Ace Hardware stores, announced the opening of the fourth location back in March, according to Fox 56 News. “We are about helping neighbors, because each one of our stores is a part of your community. As the helpful hardware folks in your neighborhood, we promise that helping you is the most important thing we have to do today,” he told Fox 56 News.

Gerrity's Ace Hardware offers specialty services including assembly, glass cutting, screen repair, color matching, small engine repair, auto key programming, key cutting, live bait and propane. The store has been designed to reflect the needs of the local community and will include solutions to everyday home maintenance needs, as well as an extensive array of high-quality products customers have come to expect from Ace in categories such as paint, lawn and garden.            

The store is packed with thousands of essential products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help people take care of their homes.

Upcoming special offers and sales include $5 off $15 through Saturday, Sept. 10, 50% off an item under $35 the week of Sept. 11 to Sept. 17, $7 off $40 the week of Sept. 18 to Sept. 24, and $10 off a $40 purchase the week of Sept 25 to Oct. 1.    

Hours are Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
