The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Matthew A. Cartwright, Cartwright for Congress, refunded $5,800 to Martha Samuelson on May 30, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Cartwright for Congress has refunded $23,200 total since Dec. 1, 2020.
