Cost of college went up for all students at King's College

Tuition and fees rose 3.9 percent for 2018-19 at King's College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $37,226 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,396 more than the $35,830 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 96 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 599 students received grants or scholarships totaling $13.3 million and 566 students took out student loans totaling more than $5.7 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,569), 1,888 students used grants or scholarships totaling $38.5 million, and 1,744 students took out $12.4 million in federal student loans.
