83 percent of applicants to Misericordia University were admitted for fall 2018

At Misericordia University, 80 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 69 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Dallas enrolled 2,566 students in fall 2018, including 2,030 in undergraduate and 536 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

67 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 33 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (86 percent) and Black or African American (3 percent).

The school admitted 83 percent of the 1,652 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 30 percent enrolled.
