On Saturday, March 29, former Pittston Area Senior High School standout Troy Davis’ current college team, the East Stroudsburg Warriors, won 14-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Bloomsburg Huskies.
The game took place at Danny Litwhiler Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Huskies this season.
The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 3 at 1 p.m. at Creekview Park against Mansfield Mountaineers.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
