On Saturday, April 5, former Hazleton Area High School standout Luke Russo’s current college team, the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stonehill Skyhawks.
The game took place at Lou Gorman Field. This was their second matchup against the Skyhawks this season.
The Knights’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Lou Gorman Field against Stonehill Skyhawks.
More than $1.6 million in state transportation funding will be distributed to four municipalities in Pike and Wayne counties, according to an announcement from Sen.
State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
