On Saturday, April 5, former Hazleton Area High School standout Jonas Aponick’s current college team, the George Washington Colonials, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the VCU Rams.

The game took place at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park. This was their second matchup against the Rams this season.

The Colonials’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 10 a.m. at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park against VCU Rams.
