On Saturday, April 12, former Hazleton Area High School standout Grant Russo’s current college team, the St. John’s Red Storm, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Xavier Musketeers.
The game took place at Jack Kaiser Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Musketeers this season.
The Red Storm’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 12 p.m. at Jack Kaiser Stadium against Xavier Musketeers.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
