On September 2, 2025, Rep. Watro posted about attending a local fire department celebration: “The Diamond Hose, Hook and Ladder Company No. 2 of the Borough of Hazleton Fire Department was fully established and organized in 1890. This past Saturday evening, I attended the 135th Anniversary Banquet for the Diamond Fire Company No. 2 at the Valley Country Club in Sugarloaf.”
In another update on September 2, Rep. Watro informed constituents about upcoming traffic changes: “There will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 southbound between Exit 145 (West Hazleton) and Exit 143 (Hazleton) in Luzerne County on Wednesday, Sept. 3, and Thursday, Sept. 4, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. to perform bridge deck repairs.”
