Rep. Dane Watro, a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, shared updates on legislative activities and community engagement through a series of posts in February 2026.

On February 9, Rep. Watro highlighted his participation in a legislative roundtable organized by the Manufacturers and Employers Association (MAEA). In his post, he stated: “Great to join colleagues at Friday’s MAEA Legislative Roundtable – the largest turnout yet! We discussed energy, taxes, workforce, health care and infrastructure. Thanks to MAEA and all who participated for working to strengthen NEPA’s economy.”

Two days later, on February 11, Rep. Watro invited constituents to an interactive event with another state official. He posted: “Join State Treasurer Stacy Garrity and I for a telephone town hall tonight, from 7-8 p.m.”

Later that same day, Rep. Watro announced the enactment of legislation related to education in Pennsylvania. He wrote: “My legislation to bring cursive instruction back to Pennsylvania schools is now law, ensuring students learn a skill that boosts cognitive growth, fine motor skills and keeps our history alive. Cursive writing was once a standard part of American school curricula but has been reduced or eliminated in many states over recent decades as digital literacy became more prominent.
