On Saturday, April 19, former Pittston Area Senior High School standout Troy Davis’ current college team, the East Stroudsburg Warriors, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Shepherd Rams.
The game took place at Fairfax Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Rams this season.
The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 3 p.m. at Creekview Park against St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
