On Friday, March 28, former Pittston Area Senior High School standout Joe Stella’s current college team, the Tampa Spartans, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Florida Southern Moccasins.

The game took place at Henley Field. This was their first matchup against the Moccasins this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at Henley Field against Florida Southern Moccasins.
