On Tuesday, April 22, former Greater Nanticoke Area Senior High School standout Luke Myers’ current college team, the Albany Great Danes, won 20-9 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Siena Saints.
The game took place at Varsity Field. This was their second matchup against the Saints this season.
The Great Danes’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 4:55 p.m. at Varsity Field against Siena Saints.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
