On Thursday, April 3, former Pittston Area Senior High School standout Troy Davis’ current college team, the East Stroudsburg Warriors, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mansfield Mountaineers.
The game took place at Creekview Park. This was their first matchup against the Mountaineers this season.
The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 3 at 3:45 p.m. at Creekview Park against Mansfield Mountaineers.
More than $1.6 million in state transportation funding will be distributed to four municipalities in Pike and Wayne counties, according to an announcement from Sen.
State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
Senator Lisa Baker (R-20), along with Representatives Brenda Pugh (R-120) and Alec Ryncavage (R-119), announced that Luzerne County will receive over $2.5 million in state funding for infrastructure projects.
