On Saturday, May 17, former Hazleton Area High School standout Johansel Brito collegiate team wins in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Hazleton Area High School standout Johansel Brito’s current collegiate team the East Stroudsburg Warriors won 6-1 against the West Chester Golden Rams in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Bob Hannah Stadium at 7 p.m. and was the first matchup against the West Chester Golden Rams in the tournament.

The East Stroudsburg Warriors’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 3 p.m. at Bob Hannah Stadium.
