On Saturday, March 29, former Hazleton Area High School standout Ryan Verbonitz’s current college team, the Mansfield Mountaineers, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Shepherd Rams.

The game took place at Fairfax Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Rams this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 1 p.m. at Jack Critchfield Park against Slippery Rock The Rock.
