On Saturday, March 22, former Hazleton Area High School standout Matt Shamany’s current college team, the Millersville Marauders, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Shepherd Rams.
The game took place at Fairfax Field. This was their third matchup against the Rams this season.
The Marauders’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 3:45 p.m. at Fairfax Field against Shepherd Rams.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
