On Saturday, March 22, former Hazleton Area High School standout Gianna Gombeda’s college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Saturday, March 22, former Hazleton Area High School standout Gianna Gombeda’s current college team, the Bloomsburg Huskies, won 16-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Shippensburg Raiders.

The game took place at Jan M. Hutchinson Field. This was their second matchup against the Raiders this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at Jan M. Hutchinson Field against Mansfield Mountaineers.
