On Saturday, April 26, former Wilkes-Barre Area High School standout Katherine Keating’s current college team, the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats, lost 3-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Glenville State Pioneers.
The game took place at Sue Morris Sports Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Pioneers this season.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
