On Saturday, April 19, former Hazleton Area High School standout Olivia Wolk’s current college team, the Hartford Hawks, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Curry Colonels.
The game took place at Hartford Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Colonels this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 3:30 p.m. at Cole Field against Williams Ephs.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
