On Saturday, April 12, former Hazleton Area High School standout Nick Biasi’s current college team, the Campbell Fighting Camels, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stony Brook Seawolves.
The game took place at Joe Nathan Field. This was their second matchup against the Seawolves this season.
The Fighting Camels’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 12 p.m. at Joe Nathan Field against Stony Brook Seawolves.
More than $1.6 million in state transportation funding will be distributed to four municipalities in Pike and Wayne counties, according to an announcement from Sen.
State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
Senator Lisa Baker (R-20), along with Representatives Brenda Pugh (R-120) and Alec Ryncavage (R-119), announced that Luzerne County will receive over $2.5 million in state funding for infrastructure projects.
