On Friday, May 16, former Hazleton Area High School standout Matt Shamany collegiate team wins in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Hazleton Area High School standout Matt Shamany’s current collegiate team the Millersville Marauders won 8-2 against the Seton Hill Griffins in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Cooper Park at 2 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Seton Hill Griffins in the tournament.

The Millersville Marauders’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 1 p.m. at Cooper Park.
