On Friday, March 28, former Greater Nanticoke Area Senior High School standout Derek Cease’s current college team, the Penn State Nittany Lions, won 12-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Michigan Wolverines.

The game took place at Ray Fisher Baseball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Wolverines this season.

The Nittany Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at Ray Fisher Baseball Stadium against Michigan Wolverines.
