On Friday, April 4, former Hazleton Area High School standout Johansel Brito’s college team won in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Friday, April 4, former Hazleton Area High School standout Johansel Brito’s current college team, the East Stroudsburg Warriors, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mansfield Mountaineers.

The game took place at Joseph Shaute Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 3 p.m. at Creekview Park against Pace Setter.
