On Friday, April 25, former Hazleton Area High School standout Gianna Gombeda’s current college team, the Bloomsburg Huskies, lost 5-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the East Stroudsburg Warriors.
The game took place at Creekview Park. This was their third matchup against the Warriors this season.
The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 4 p.m. at Creekview Park against East Stroudsburg Warriors.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
