On Friday, April 11, former Hazleton Area High School standout Olivia Wolk’s current college team, the Hartford Hawks, won 14-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UNE Nor’Easters.
The game took place at Nor’easter Diamond. This was their second matchup against the Nor’Easters this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 3 p.m. at Hartford Softball Field against Eastern Connecticut State Warriors.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
