On Saturday, March 29, former Hazleton Area High School standout Makenna Balay’s current college team, the Kutztown Golden Bears, won 9-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lock Haven Bald Eagles.

The game took place at North Campus Field. This was their first matchup against the Bald Eagles this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 3 p.m. at North Campus Field against Lock Haven Bald Eagles.
