On Friday, April 4, former Lake-Lehman Junior Senior High School standout Nicholas Finarelli’s current college team, the LIU Sharks, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercyhurst Lakers.
The game took place at LIU Baseball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Lakers this season.
The Sharks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. at LIU Baseball Stadium against Mercyhurst Lakers.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
