On Saturday, March 15, former Hazleton Area High School standout Jonas Aponick’s current college team, the George Washington Colonials, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Fordham Rams.

The game took place at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park. This was their third matchup against the Rams this season.

The Colonials’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park against Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.
