On Sunday, March 16, former Holy Redeemer High School standout Hunter Austra’s current college team, the Canisius Golden Griffins, lost 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Merrimack Warriors.
The game took place at Warrior Baseball Diamond. This was their third matchup against the Warriors this season.
The Golden Griffins’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at John P. Bobo Field against Niagara Purple Eagles.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
