On Friday, April 25, former Hazleton Area High School standout Lauren Daniels’ current college team, the West Chester Golden Rams, won 9-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Shepherd Rams.
The game took place at WCU Softball field. This was their fourth matchup against the Rams this season.
The Golden Rams’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at 1 p.m. at Jan M. Hutchinson Field against Bloomsburg Huskies.
More than $1.6 million in state transportation funding will be distributed to four municipalities in Pike and Wayne counties, according to an announcement from Sen.
