On Tuesday, March 25, former Hazleton Area High School standout Kyle Peters’ current college team, the UConn Huskies, lost 18-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Boston Eagles.
The game took place at Elliot Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.
The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 2:30 p.m. at Parsons Field and Friedman Diamond against Northeastern Huskies.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
