On Tuesday, April 1, former Hazleton Area High School standout Grant Russo’s current college team, the St. John’s Red Storm, lost 22-14 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Washington Huskies.
The game took place at Jack Kaiser Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Huskies this season.
The Red Storm’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 3:05 p.m. at Jack Kaiser Stadium against Seton Hall Pirates.

State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
