On Friday, April 18, former Hazleton Area High School standout Gianna Gombeda’s current college team, the Bloomsburg Huskies, lost 7-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Kutztown Golden Bears.

The game took place at Jan M. Hutchinson Field. This was their third matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 4 p.m. at Jan M. Hutchinson Field against Kutztown Golden Bears.
