On Friday, April 4, former Holy Redeemer High School standout Luke Kopec’s current college team, the East Stroudsburg Warriors, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mansfield Mountaineers.
The game took place at Joseph Shaute Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Mountaineers this season.
The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 3 p.m. at Creekview Park against Pace Setter.
More than $1.6 million in state transportation funding will be distributed to four municipalities in Pike and Wayne counties, according to an announcement from Sen.
State Representative Dane Watro (R-Luzerne/Schuylkill) and Senator Dave Argall (R-29) have announced that $500,000 in grants from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program will be allocated to several municipalities in Schuylkill County.
