Former Hazleton Area High School standout and current Bloomsburg Huskies player, Gianna Gombeda will compete in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

They begin the tournament as a number six seed against the third seeded Shepherd Rams.

The first game is on Thursday, May 8 at 12:45 p.m.
